Meet the parts
Peek inside a computer, get to know its parts and learn how they work together. Then roll up your sleeves for a supervised build.
Explore + buildPractical skills.
A computer of their own.
Ever wondered what’s inside a computer? Let’s open one up, find out together and build something awesome.

The best part? It goes home with you.
Every First Build participant gets a tested refurbished computer to take home and keep forever. The class and computer are completely free. Come learn with us, then keep exploring on a computer that’s yours.
ReForge Technical Learning Labs is for curious kids who want to try things, ask questions and see what they can make. You don’t need to know all the answers. That’s what learning together is for.
Dates and signups are coming. We’re getting the first classes ready near Decherd, Tennessee. Enrollment is not open yet. We’ll share the ages, dates and how to join when they’re ready.
Your first adventure
Imagine that first moment when a computer you helped put together lights up. You know what’s inside. You know what the parts do. And you get to take it home.
That’s the idea behind First Build. We’re planning a six-student pilot with plenty of hands-on help, room for questions and time to figure things out together.
Curiosity welcome. Perfect scores not required.
Your take-home computer is yours regardless of test scores or consent to research, photos, testimonials or marketing.
Less watching. More trying.
Here’s a taste of the hands-on adventures we’re planning. An instructor will be there to help at every step.
Peek inside a computer, get to know its parts and learn how they work together. Then roll up your sleeves for a supervised build.
Explore + buildWhy won’t it connect? Where did that file go? Try small challenges, follow the clues and learn how to get things working again.
Try + solveTry a little code or a creative computing project. Turn “What if?” into something you can show someone.
Imagine + createSet up your computer, practice safer passwords and learn to spot scams. Explore AI with care, check its answers and keep private things private.
Learn + keep exploringWe’re also building Reforge Learning Foundry: playful, guided missions and safe practice challenges to bring these lessons to life.
Help a kid find their spark
A computer sitting on a shelf could become the one a kid learns on, builds with and proudly takes home. We’d love to hear from people and businesses who want to help.
Please email us before dropping off equipment so we can talk about what’s useful and how to handle it safely. Schools, libraries and community groups are welcome to ask about hosting, too.
Bring your questions. Bring your ideas.
Parents, guardians, teachers and anyone who’d like to help: say hello at hello@aesirreforge.com. Ask about the plan, tell us about equipment or talk with us about a place to learn.
For now, just send a general question. Please leave out children’s personal details, passwords and private files.
